Counseling for Faculty and Staff

WELCOME

Counseling for Faculty and Staff (CFS) provides counseling, consultation, training and referrals for concerns that impact work. Most people use CFS because they have had difficulty solving a problem in their personal or work life and are looking for additional options and resources. Counseling for Faculty and Staff offers free, confidential counseling, workshops or referrals to faculty, staff and their immediate families. We offer consultation and training to managers and supervisors, program directors and department chairs.

We are open Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm. Counseling for Faculty and Staff is a division of the Institute for Health and Human Services of Appalachian State University.

WE are located in University Hall to join ASU's Institute for Health and Human Services.

From campus, go right on Blowing Rock Road (Hwy. 321), take the first left after Staples on University Hall Drive, go to the top of the hill and park. When you enter the front door, look for the Registration desk to your left. A receptionist will seat you and get your counselor.

During fall and spring semesters, APPALCART SERVICE will be available every 30 minutes on the Pink route. In summer, catch the Red route. Go to http://www.appalcart.appstate.edu/EN/US/.../09 for route information.

Please see Contact Information if you would like to get in touch with CFS Staff.
