How much does it cost to use CFS?

CFS services on the campus of ASU are free. If CFS refers you to services elsewhere, charges for those services are the employee's responsibility. Of course, you may use health insurance to pay for those services as appropriate.

Are CFS services really confidential?

All CFS services are confidential within limits imposed by state and federal laws. In most cases, state and federal laws prohibit CFS from revealing any information about you without your consent. Your CFS counselor will discuss legally required exceptions to confidentiality with you at your first meeting or you may download our Informed Consent document prior to the first meeting and bring it with you. Please feel free to raise the topic of confidentiality with your counselor at any time.

May I use CFS during work hours?

You may be released from work during hours not critical to your job with your supervisor's agreement or you may use leave time if you prefer.
